Successful applicants should keep the following in mind throughout the application process:
Know your application requirements & deadlines
A minimum overall transfer credit GPA of at least 2.0 is required, depending on the total number of transferable credit hours. The application fee for US applicants is $75 and for international applicants is $85. International applicants will also need to submit proof of English Language Proficiency.
Familiarize yourself with the ApplyTexas instructions
List all schools previously attended, and note on the application any prior or alternative names. Be sure to select “Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS) - Online” as your major, under the College of Applied and Collaborative Studies.
Request official transcripts
You will need to submit to University of North Texas official transcripts for each school previously attended. International applicants should review specific guidelines for submitting international academic credentials. .
Keep an eye on your email
A few days after submitting your application, UNT will email your login credentials for the myUNT portal. Once you have successfully logged into the myUNT portal, you will be able to pay the required application fee and check your Tasks and To Do lists to track the progress of your application.
